Senior Frontend Engineer with over 9 years of experience building scalable, high-performance web applications across healthcare, e-commerce, and API driven platforms.
Passionate about clean architecture, performance, testing, and delivering intuitive user experiences. Increasingly focused on integrating AI-powered features and developer workflows (LLMs, automation, and intelligent UX patterns).
Primarily a Vue and Nuxt developer, I've also built with React and Preact and worked on projects featuring a C# back end, so I'm comfortable moving across the stack when a project calls for it.
Experienced in ownership of complex features end-to-end, cross-team communication, mentoring developers, and contributing to team leadership and technical direction.
Owned frontend architecture and end-to-end delivery of core features, from scoping and technical design through to implementation, testing, documentation, and release.
Leveraged AI-assisted development workflows to increase ticket throughput by ~1.5x, using structured estimation, planning, and post-delivery time analysis to validate efficiency gains.
Increased automated test coverage by ~25%, and delivered high-quality, well-tested features providing full test coverage for all new features, across Vitest and Cypress, improving release confidence and reducing regressions.
Led resolution of complex frontend issues, rapidly debugging production incidents, documenting root causes, and communicating clearly with stakeholders.
Reduced page load time by 50% and total network payload size by 54% by refactoring legacy code, resolving performance bottlenecks, and implementing caching strategies.
Improved platform observability by enhancing Sentry logging, tagging, and versioning, reducing noise and accelerating issue triage.
Produced clear, structured merge requests with detailed context, screenshots, and videos; partnered closely with QA to ensure thorough testing and high-confidence releases.
Stepped into team leadership when needed, running stand-ups, coordinating releases, and maintaining team alignment; mentored and supported a mid-level developer, providing guidance on implementation and technical decisions.
Refactored legacy code, migrated to the latest API, and customized VuexORM plugins to enhance platform evolution and user experience.
Assisted with frontend development leadership in the absence of the lead developer, conducting daily stand-ups and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure project progress.
Implemented Storybook and Cypress for consistent UI design and quality testing; integrated Jest for unit testing components.
Authored comprehensive code documentation, focusing on API integration, best practices, and coding standards.
Mentored junior developers, fostering knowledge-sharing and contributing to team growth and collaboration.
Contributed heavily to one of the largest multilingual e-commerce platforms in live streaming, with ~400k monthly users.
Rebuilt high-traffic areas from the ground up, such as product, search result pages, and checkout - improving user experience and overall conversion rates.
Developed key features, including a referral system and custom blog components, integrated within Hygraph (formerly GraphCMS).
Refactored the checkout process to support multiple payment vendors, enhancing flexibility.
Implemented A/B testing on Netlify and Cypress tests for critical user flows, ensuring functionality and performance.
Created reusable, standardized components in Storybook for documentation and site-wide consistency.
Optimised SEO strategies, boosting visibility and driving sales growth.
Collaborated with cross-functional teams to align design with functionality for seamless product delivery.
Performed thorough testing to detect and document bugs, issues, and inconsistencies across various browser versions on client websites.
Collaborated on development projects, such as bug fixes, website page development, and assisting team members with coding issues.
Ensured compliance with search engine guidelines to enhance website traffic and conversions for clients.
Effectively communicated identified bugs to the development team, including clear reproduction steps to facilitate troubleshooting and resolution.
Side Projects
Order and Chaos Online restoration
August 2026
A restoration project recreating the Order & Chaos online experience. The server is written in C# and the client is built with Three.js and Preact.
Both halves are fed by an extractor that works from user-provided IPA app files, so the game's assets are extracted by the person running it rather than distributed with the project.
A weekly GPS art challenge: each week brought a new theme, and players had to run a route that drew the art. A full-stack Nuxt app with an API integration with Strava.
Players logged in with Strava, picked from a list of their activities and submitted them as their own entry. It included moderation tools with AI moderation to catch rude or offensive artwork, voting, and profiles where each player could have multiple submissions.
Tested with Vitest and end-to-end with Playwright, and hosted on Railway.
